Defensa strives to develop skills and attitudes which will prepare the athlete for post secondary competition and beyond. It is great to win in the youth division but it is better to be prepared going into the CIS, NCAA and National teams. We are not trying to be the best club in Canada, we want to effect change to make our National team more competitive by developing athletes with an open mind to learning, intense focus and the right skill sets. There are no advanced level techniques taught, just volleyball! Defensa is team first, so selfish athletes need not apply!
