18U makes the podium, defeating Preds 18 in 2 straight sets for bronze in their last regular season OVA last weekend. According to Coach Nick, throughout the season “the pieces were there, they just needed to come together”. He added his team has “a serious understanding that we are on the right path and the wheels are in motion at last as we prepare for provincials”. The 18’s were joined by 2 17U players…”thanks to the call-ups who stepped in and killed it”. The team will be working hard to prepare for big finishes at Provincials, Lakeshore Volleyfest in Grand Rapids, and Nationals in Edmonton.Way to go Defensa 18!
