Defensa’s 14u, a newly formed team this season comprised of athletes from local clubs, 1st year players, and 3 13U-aged players, finished off their OVA season with a bang, capturing the Division 2 Gold Medal this past weekend at the Ontario Championships! Under the coaching leadership of Adam Podstawka and Brenda Shin, the girls ran undefeated throughout the 3-day weekend at RIM Park. Seeded 24th going into provincials, the Defensa athletes put their 7 +hours/week training to good use on the court, competing hard and working their way up to the #1 spot in their division. Way to go 14U, we are proud of you!
